Abbey Road

Abbey is the baby of the bunch. She was a feral cat and part of the Colony that my friend Dana feeds (and fixes!). When Dana found Abbey and her siblings, Butters and Piper, Abbey was the only black one, and I always wanted a black cat.

 

Black cats (and dogs) are most likely to be euthanized at shelters. They are the ones that are overlooked and considered "Bad luck". Abbey is anything but bad luck. She is a sweet kitty, who loves Peter more than me! 

 

Abbey is our alarm clock. She is up at the crack of dawn asking to be fed. She is still very skittish around new people. She is warming up to Maggie, as long as Maggie does not make any sudden movements. unfortunately Stella is not a fan of Abbey, but recently Abbey has been standing her ground with Stella. 

 

Abbey was named after Abbey Road, because I am a huge beatles fan and when I got Abbey my Papa had just passed away from Leukemia. Our love of the Beatles was something that he and I shared.
